Includes: *Unicorn * 5 packs of beads *Stylus *Brush *Sorting station *Glue *Wax
Set up your work area. Use a flat surface to work on. Make sure that you cover the area with something like old newspaper to keep the table clean
Only open the bags of gems when you are ready to use them.
You can use the picture on the packaging as an idea for color placement or use your imagination.
PREPARE THE STYLUS
Peel back the clear plastic on the wax. Insert metal tip of the stylus intο the wax and take off a small amount of the wax. The wax will hold each gem as you place it on the figurine.Replace the plastic sheet so the wax does not harden. Set the wax aside for future use - as you are working, you will notice that the stylus no longer picks up the gems. When this happens, refill the stylus
TIP: It is best to decorate with one color at a time
DECORATE YOUR UNICORN
1. Choose a color of gem to work with. 2. Carefully pour the gems intο the sorting tray provided to keep the gems organized 3. Using the paintbrush, apply a small amount of glue to the area of the figurine that you want to work in
TIP: Apply the glue in small amounts and small areas at a time as it will dry quickly!
4. Pick up a gem with the stylus. To pick up the gem, tap the tip of the wax-filled stylus onto the rounded top of the gem. 5. Carefully press the gem (flat side down) onto the glued area of the figurine you are decorating. 6. Repeat untill you have finished the color. 7. Repeat the above steps with the next color.
When you have finished and the figurine is fully decorated, wait about 20 minutes for the glue to dry completely. Then you can display your unicorn.
Make sure you handle the figurine with care
Gems that fall off can be fixed with a small spot of glue.
