*stick a nail through the fabric, if necessary make a hole beforehand using a stud. *put the denim button right side up on the smooth base. *insert the end of the nail intο the button heel hole and secure with a couple of moderate hammer blows. NB! A pinned button cannot be removed without damaging the button.
