Yarn Schachenmayr Denim Tweed 50g / 00071 Smaragd

The yarn Denim Tweed is part of the MEZ Green range – an everyday sustainable yarn that contains recycled materials. The cotton is derived from denim textile production waste, while the polyester comes from recycled PET bottles. This blend results in a yarn that contains small coloured fibre pieces, just like classic tweed fabric does. A soft polyamide thread is wound around the yarn to provide the necessary stability and appearance. Knitwear made with Denim Tweed is nice and cool against the skin. The yarn is ultra-light and there are 210 metres of yarn in a 50 gram skein!
